.These characters brought a LOT to me, including the motivation and desire to learn how to draw. 20 years later, I'm still going at it, as you can see by the ART LINKS on the top of my homepage here.The primary reason though? The romantic couple shown above in the gifset - Jimmy Neutron and Betty Quinlan.I went nuts for this pair, they had the right kind of wholesome sillyness that I prefer in couples. No enemies to lovers, or similar. But the show writers had other ideas, so the couple wound up NOT being very accepted, apart from the general "you do you, but too boring for me" mindset. I still wanted to see more stuff for them though, content, fanworks, etc. So that's how my art journey began. Quite literally with one sentence -"You KNEW I liked Cindy and tried to steal her from me."Please note that I was watching it on CABLE TV then and thus, hadn't seen a bunch of the other couple's scenes yet. Well, apart from them fighting.

But yes, the second crossover with Fairly Oddparents is how I finally figured it out. I was a sheltered kid, so I was a bit clueless with such things....

Particularly of my next generation fankid, Jane Neutron.sidenote - I chose those username variants cause of "Neko" = japanese word for cat, and girl cause my gender.I did NOT know anything about the popular anime nekogirls at the time, nor do I associate with them at all.
